Keep going...

Oh how tired I am, but there are still a couple of weeks to go before the actual summer holiday begins. Oh but wait, I'm a cat an cats don't work! It's the secretary who has to do that! 

Well, I don't care, I might aswell take a nap right now and here!

Oh the humiliation...

Kitties, I'm sure you feel with me the frustration and the humiliation the humans  sometimes make us innocent cats feel. Just look at this picture! They made me wear a stupid PINK bow, that actually is a part of a BUNNY COSTUME!!! Sometimes I really would like to hire new staff...

What the...

I should have guessed... It was traveling time for my staff and cat hotel time for me. They went a bit further than the lake cottage this time. There is a bigger cottage being built there, but the secretary hasn't yet been doing anything for it. Luckily there are skilled people who are doing the hard work. Well, she needs to take care of me and the kids, and I guess we are keeping her pretty busy. But she'll be having things to do at the lakeside in due time. 

Anyhow, I think it was a bit unfair allthough I enjoyed my all inclusive apartment so much that I didn't want to leave there when they came to take me home.

Me and my secretary, we're back together! You know, the days off turned out a bit different than I had thought. But now we're together again, and all is well in my little world.

Busy times

My secretary has told me that she will be very busy for a while now, and she has applied for a leave of absence from her blogging tasks for a few days. I was nice and granted it to her. I've heard that they would be building me a bigger cottage to the lake, so I better be reasonable with her and give some time for that process. I'm pretty excited about it. Of course the new hut could have been bigger (I have to share it with my staff anyway you know), but I guess I have to be thankful for any improvement. 

Thank you for all your nice and funny comments, it's always so nice to read them.

But I'll be offline for a while now, see you again sooner than later!

I saw Something Interesting on the terrace today.

The humans didn't see it, obviously, they never get these things. I didn't bother to explain it to them either, since they still wouldn't get it. I know you furry friends get this, without explaining.

Slow Thursday

It's been a nice and quiet day today. My staff has had a day off from work and school. A red day in calendar which name I don't know in English. 

One would think they would concentrate on me because of that, but I have actually noticed some slight delays with my feeding schedule. I guess they have been too busy relaxing. Well, I'm good at it too!

I think you were very smart kitties, regarding my post yesterday. It was a trampoline I was walking on. I don't really like to bounce on it, unlike the kids who would probably live on it bouncing the days and nights away. They try to get me with them there, but I will run away pretty fast. But get this, even the secretary jumps on it every now and then! The neighbours must have a lot of fun watching that!  She claims it's good exercise, but I think it's her inner child that just wants to skip and bounce.

Happy Mother's Day!

We have celebrated the Morher's Day today, and the Mom in this house has been pampered in many ways. First she got a tasty cake from the boys in this house, and obviously very nice presents and cards. Then a bit later, I let her have a nap with me on the sofa. 

The picture of today doesn't really have anything to with anything, except that I have a bit embarrassing thing to confess to you... The big one made some delicious white fish in the oven for lunch, and I was offered a generous amount of it  too. Well, I didn't feel like having real-live-fresh-dead-fish today, but I chose to eat my dry kibble and white fish prepared by Whiskas instead. Go figure.

I hope all of you Mother's for furry or not so furry kids have had a great day!

I saw another cat!

The neighbours cat came for a visit, and we saw each other through the window. How exciting! 

Too bad I have such an amateur photographer, she was only able to catch a picture of her tail! I should really hire a professional to take my photos...

A perfect spot for a kitty

Friends, I found a perfect spot for a kitty today. Check out these pictures first, and I'll explain the details then.

Now get this: a sunpuddle, warm breeze from the fan above the window and shiny streamers (aka cat toy) hanging at a paws reach. There's just so many things right in this spot.

Yes, the humans will take the streamers off eventually, there just has been birthday celebrations going on after the first of May, so they have stayed a while longer. Not that I'm complaining...

Why don't you just stop running around like a crazy person and give me some attention! You can clean up the house later.

It's the first of May, and we have snacks, treats, drinks and fancy golden streamers! Even the weather is traditionally rainy and windy.

But hey, we are not complaining, it's our day off so we don't care how the weather is!
