Some proper presents I was given today!

In addition to these, I was given some fresh live dead beef from the steaks the humans were having. 

It's good to be two!!!

It's my birthday!

Oh yes, it's my birthday today!

I'm turning TWO whole years now! I'm a big cat already, aren't I?

But the humans failed, they forgot to bring me any gifts. I don't know if I can forgive them.

They said they would bring something tomorrow. Let's hope they really will do that.

So here's a fresh picture of me. It actually looks like I would be dead. But I'm not, I'm just in a post-skritching-coma-bliss. You cats know what I mean. A great state of mind if you ask me.

Ok, here's another one if you don't believe I'm fine. I am. Although a bit upset because the ignorance of my staff.

Unfair

I think it's pretty unfair that the humans deny certain things from us cats, but then do it themselves. 

Look what I caught my staff doing today!

They were ripping the wallpaper down for no apparent reason! Humans can be weird! You can surely guess what they would have said if I had started that!!

Well, at least they let me participate this time!

Messed up

My staff is pretty tidy and organized types, but luckily they do mess up sometimes and leave piles of clothes somewhere.

Those piles make good napping spots for me!!

Nose to nose

Now it's just me and my favourite human,  alone at last for a couple of hours.

I'm thinking head bumps, purrs, skritches and peaceful laptime. Are you with me?

Birds!

This morning begun with a fierce bird spotting through the window. Check out my impressive hunter pose.

You can't see the birds in the picture, but I sure could! There were loads of them on the neighbours roof. Exciting times!

Water!

My staff has finally figured out a better way to get me drink some water! It was about time I say! The secretary had been checking a kind of Cats for Dummies book in a bookstore, and she happened to see a page giving information on how to get a cat to drink water if it refuses. The book said that many cats don't like if their water bowl is right next to their food bowl! Also, the water should be cold and fresh, and the material of the bowl might have an effect. Well, no news to me, but obviously some of it was news to my secretary...

So now my drinking facilities have improved a bit. She bought a new steel bowl for me, and placed it on the sink in the laundry room. This way it doesn't even matter if I would "accidentally" flip the bowl over...

So I went and inspected the new conditions.

Well, I'd say this was a huge improvement to the old black ceramic bowl I used to have beside my food bowl. I have to admit I was more interested in the drops of water on the surface of the sink, but I have been seen actually drinking water from the new and shiny bowl, so I guess we can call it a success!

I hope you had a great weekend! The holiday we had is now really over, and the kids are going back to school and both of the adults back to work. So this means I get the whole house back to me again, bliss!
