Poor kitten...

Don't I have any other place to take a nap? Well, sure I do, but this time I felt like sleeping on some toys among this mess the kids created. The secretary felt so bad for me, she thought this spot was too uncomfortable to sleep on. Well she's a human with a sensitive body, I guess she should be wrapped in some cushions if she would need to take a nap on the floor... We cats don't mind a piece of hard floor against our bellies do we?!?

Business as usual

It's Friday, and here it's business as usual. 

The secretary has overdosed on candy and already regrets eating so many of them. 

 

She's also trying to read a book, but I would have other things for her to do. We'll see what kind of compromise we will reach.

It's Thursday, which means that it's almost WEEKEND! 

The reason why I look so suspicious in these pictures is that the secretary is trying to take a close up picture of me with her mobile. I don't like that. Whenever she puts her mobile close to me I start to whap and attack it. She should have learned by now but she hasn't.

Oh well, have a good Thursday evening!

I almost saw another cat!

OMC, I almost saw another cat yesterday!

See? We even fit in the same picture! This another cat lives in our neighbourhood, and the lucky creature gets to go out by himself! 

The secretary claims though, that I didn't actually see this fellow feline... She says I was more interested in the grass and the trees than the cat. Well, what can I do when I've been separated from my breed by these humans! I probably wouldn't recognize another cat even if I saw one! And even if I would see one I guess I should actually notice it... kind of...

Sunpuddle!!

We have sunpuddles again! Oh how I have missed them! Now it has been sunny many days in a row, and I have enjoyed every minute of it! 

I hope you friends still struggling with snow storms get rid of them soon, and will be able to enjoy sunny spring weather instead!

Evening stroll

Just hanging out in our garden, and going on an evening stroll. It's a bit chilly though, and I don't feel like being here too long... I'm an indoor cat anyways!

Spring fever!

Friends, the weather around here has taken a promising turn. The comeback of the winter seems to be over, and signs of spring seem to be coming our way. Yestarday the weather was just great, the sun was shining, and above all that, the stupid snow was MELTING!! I got to go out also, which was nice. I enjoyed the sunlinght on the terrace, and it warmed my black fur pretty nicely.

 

Here you can seee the snow melting. Die snow, DIE!!!

 

The secretary says that nothing beats the sound of melting snow dripping during springtime. She says it's like music to her ears. I think she would be doing a raindance if she could. You know, rain takes away the rest of the snow pretty nicely.

 

So spring, bring it on! We are READY!

Zzzzzzzz....

I just found a perfect place for me to take a nap.

It's a cabinet where the secretary stores some pillows. Can you imagine how comfortable this would have been! This particular pillow under me is filled with the softest down a bird can produce. Oh the bliss!

The only bad thing is that this bliss lasted only a couple of minutes before the thoughtless secretary took me away from there. I guess it had something to do with my history of peeing on clothes in the cabinets... BUT, what happened to good old forgive and forget?!?! I have already forgiven and forgotten my abandonment, couldn't she just forget my past peeings already?

I want out!

I tried to make my wish to go out pretty clear today.

Picking up my leash...

...and meowing at the door.

But they didn't do anything about it. Hmph. The secretary only claimed the weather was too bad for me to wet my paws. As if I would be made of sugar! Come on, put on your wellingtons and let's go!

What's up?

The white stuff came back...

 

And I got to go out!!! It has been a while since I've been outdoors. The official explanation is, that my staff had misplaced my leash. Now they bought me a new set,  and out we went. It was quite interesting and cold. I played around the snow for a while, but then I started to shiver and wanted to go back in.

 

Ok, now you can go away again snow, I think we've had it for this winter.

Five o'clock cuddles

The secretary has finally noticed, that I have a need for cuddles usually around 5pm every day.  Presuming that I have been fed properly a bit before that. 

Around 5pm she should install herself on the sofa, and let me have my daily cuddles like I want to. Before that it's too soon, and after that it's too late. That's just how it is.

But enough about that, I will now continue to enjoy my laptime in peace.

You probably haven't seen my ride have you? This police car is great for my patrol duties. 

Also, since it's really a cushion, it's a great place to take a nap. That's really more important than having a ride...

The cat show was in town

Are there any cat show kittens among my readers? The secretary and the kids were at a cat show that was in town during the weekend. They saw a whole lot of different cat breeds there! I was just wondering why they didn't take me there to be judged, I'm sure my handsome looks would have earned me a prize or two!

 

The secretary just claimed that maybe my character and behaviour would have bee a bit too lively for that kind of activities. She said I would have raised havoc if I would have been put to a cage for all the people to stare at me. All these cats in the show seemed to be quite experienced and calm, but there was one noisy cat who meowed so loud and clear that the whole hall was echoing. Cool, thumbs up for that rebel cat!

Keep on trying...

She is trying to write a shopping list, but I want to cuddle. So we do both. I tried to get her to write catfood and snacks on the list, but it came out as cat litter. Better luck next time!

It's finally Friday!

The second best day of the week is finally here! I'm spending time inspecting the new flower pots the secretary has changed for a couple of plants.

I think the plant doesn't yet have enough of my smell on it, so I still need to rub it in. That's enough work for one night.

Toca Boca

As you know, the secretary is a bit useless when it comes to some tech stuff. It's only now she was introduced to the app called Toca Boca. The kids loved it, obviously, and mastered it right away. 

After they had edited their own pictures for a while, the other kid had an idea to edit my picture! They thought this was hilarious! Me, not so much... Hmph...

Honey I'm home!

Sometimes when my secretary comes home and I happen to feel friendly and generous, I might welcome her with my special moves and purrs.

The secretary likes this routine very much, I think it makes her feel appreciated, missed and loved. I also think this makes her remember my feeding schedule a little better, so that's why I need to do this every now and then. But really, it's a true win-win again.
