Come on...

...is this once again some kind of stupid joke? Staff, come on and move my cat tree to its normal location asap!

I can't in any circumstances supervise our garden from this point, where I'm not even close to the window! AND you haven't even opened the blinds for me yet. 

I don't care if you want to go out from this door, you can just as well use the other one! I can't possibly be blamed if a suspicious bird or cat or insect tries to approach the house on my shift if you keep messing up my office!

The lovely evening sun

It's been a cloudy and rainy day, but now in the evening we got a lovely sunshine and wind still. I was let out also, and I went on with my usual route through the flower bed, and stayed there for a good while. 

I tried to locate the fly from yesterday, but I didn't see him... Well, better luck next time! Have a great weekend!

The hunter

Same place again today, but now I'm as far away from a nap as a cat can be! I'm hunting!

  

I even had to whap the blinds in the process, which wasn't appreciated at all by the secretary... But hey, I'm a hunter, what can I do if some stupid blinds get in the way between me and my prey! 

Well, as it turned out there was also the window glass between me and the fly I was chasing, so I was left empty pawed this time. BUT you better watch out you stupid fly, as soon as I get my leash and harness on, there's no stopping me! You can fly but you can't hide from me...

It's Wednesday today, but it kind of feels like Friday, since we have a day off on Thursday. 

There's nothing special going on, so I might just as well take a nap.

Tuna salad

The secretary made a tuna sallad for a quick lunch for herself. I became very interested in that stuff as soon as I smelled the tuna. 

I just have to question the cooking skills of my secretary... What kind of idiot would spoil the heavenly taste of fresh live dead canned tuna by mixing it with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and other weird stuff? I say keep it simple! Tuna needs no additional stuff to taste good.

AND, she didn't even let me taste the stuff!! So rude of her! Well, as a revenge, I took a sip from her glass of milk... 

A simple toy

One of my favourite toys is a very simple one. A cap of any bottle one can get his/her paws on. 

I have a special radar for this kind of caps. Whenever I hear one is taken off of its bottle, I'm there. Very fast I drop it on the floor and start chasing it around the house. It doesn't really need to be more complicated than this! Great fun!

Sunday laundry day

The secretary washes clothes and stuff most often on Sundays. That means she also has a lot of folding clothes and sheets to do. I thought I would help her a bit.

Well, I consider keeping her company is helping, so that is what I did. I just hope she would have had the decency to leave some of the laundry for me to rest on, but no. She insisted on folding all of them away. Well, her choice. She only missed some more quality time with me!

Sand and water

I was neglected again, when the secretary took the kids to the beach.

I haven't realised that the beach is actually like a GIANT litter box beside a sea filled with fish!! What more could a cat need? Fresh live LIVING fish and a place to pee where-ever one would like to whenever one would  need to. Bliss! 

But, they didn't take me with them! The secretary pointed out that there was a sign saying "No dogs allowed". Well hello, I wasn't going to drag any dogs there, just cats! I'm sure cats could go there.

By the way, the splash in the water is one of the kids diving into the freezing cold water ( you know only a couple of months ago it was covered with snow and ice) , I would have passed that...

Water fight

We have such a lovely hot weather around here that the kids were having a water fight on the garden. 

I got my fur all wet too, and since they didn't give me any ammo to defend myself, I couldn't really fight back. Well, as you know, we cats do have our ways to get even. Sooner or later...

A lounging panther

Sometimes I like to lounge around the house in different places, and let my staff believe that I'm just resting.....

 

...but in reality, I'm keeping a keen eye on them ALL the time... Watching them very closely, if they would happen to go and open the REFRIGERATOR!

Not suitable for sensitive readers

I have a new hobby. A pretty gross one some of you might think, but I don't see it like that. Since it's been warmer around here, my staff are walking bare feet more often. Which brings me to the subject. I like biting human toes. 

This was my embarrassing confession for today. Sorry about that.

Thunder and lightning

After very warm couple of days we had the very first thunderstorms for this spring. I didn't mind much, just went and inspected the situation from the window. 

I do prefer the sunshine, but I guess it's good to have some rain every now and then...

Summer in the city

 

The weather Gods have finally been gracious towards us, and it feels like summer would be here already. The kids and the secretary have changed to shorts and t-shirts, and sun-block has been smeared on white skin. Even I was allowed to go out for a long period, and the secretary walked nicely behind me with the leash following me (almost)  where ever I wanted to go.

Almost in paradise

The secretary was visiting our paradise today, to do spring cleaning in the small cottage. BUT SHE DIDN'T TAKE ME WITH HER! I would have LOVED to go there. Well, she didn't stay there too long, so I'd better tag along next time.

But can you believe her un-thoughtfulness: She told me she had found a live dead mouse there. AND SHE DIDN'T BRING IT HOME TO ME!! Would that really been too much to ask? She wouldn't have had to buy me anything, just bring the small mouse to me. OMC the fun I would have had with it!! Real live dead mouse!! Can you imagine ANYTHING better than that! I think not! I have SO much training to do with her still, SO much...

Friends, it's Friday again! I've eaten well, had good snacks and climbed around the house a bit. Business as usual in another words. Now I'm just going to relax and have a good time.

Working cat

Today one of the kids had fever, so the secretary stayed at home from work with him. She pretended to work a bit also, and I helped her. 

I'm her anti-stress cat. I require scritches every now and then, so she needs to have a break every from her work. After scritching me for a while, she's all de-stressed and fixed to continue her work. Win-win again!

Carlos wants to go out

I have yet another video for you to watch!! The secretary caught me telling her that I need to get out! As you see, my message should be pretty clear, but my staff still didn't do as I told them to. Somedays I feel like giving them up!

Reaching out

The weather looked very nice and sunny today, and I would have loved to go out. But, no such luck... I even tried to scratch the window but my claws could't make a single mark on it. Glass is pretty interesting material, have you tried to scratch it sometimes? It's funny that you can see through it and it can be very fragile, yet it's mightier than a claw of a cat. I'm getting all philosophical here!

So my secretary had a total blog post black-out today. She took these pictures of me, but didn't come up with anything reasonable to write. Neither did I. Strange. We reeeeeally did try, but no. Nothing, zip, nada. We even asked the big one for some inspiration for a post, but all he could come up with was "A cat for sale" and we didn't quite agree with that. So, that's it for today. 

Allthough, it's a bit surprising how much you can write though you really have nothing to say...

Working out with my mom

The secretary (also known as my mom, being Mothers day and all) has realised that summer is coming soon, so she'd better start working out! I guess she's planning on going to the beach as often as she can, and she wouldn't like to freak everyone else out when she goes there. Good luck with that...

Anyhow, it looked so insecure when she started to swing that 8 kg kettle bell around, so I thought I would give her a helping paw. 

Come on, we can do this! Together!

There, we did it! 

I have to tell you that the kettle bell has been mainly collecting dust after Christmas, but maybe now it will get some more use!

Now, time for a nap.

I am pretty handy cat you know. If I need something done, I just do it or get my staff to do it for me. Today I thought that my green mousie toy should be in the litter box room instead of the hall where it was.

There! Even through closed doors I can transport my stuff if I want to!
