Runaway Carlos

See how innocent I look in this picture? A cute black kitty taking a nap on the sofa.

Well, think again...Today I made it. I escaped my staff. Ok, it was only for 15 minutes but still.

As I have told you I have gained trust from my staff, since I have been hanging around the house very nicely when let out. Today the secretary put my leash on me and let me out without securing the leash anywhere. She went inside the house ONLY for like two minutes to get some laundry, and POOF I went missing.

She started looking for me everywhere and the kids were looking for me too. The secretary asked the closest neighbours if they've seen me. One of the neighbours said that some cats like to hide under their terrace. Well, it was right there a friend of the kids' then found me.

Oh boy, I was free for a while... It was sweet... But then I was found and I guess I won't be allowed out without a sturdy grip on my leash anymore...

  1. Oh, Carlos, you blew it. At least temporarily. It's good you were found quickly, though, and that the leash didn't get caught around anything! (We hope you have a break-away collar, just in case!)

We suggest laying low for a while and then trying again. (Our human is cringing at the thought, of course. LOL.)

  5. Well Carlos *I* think you were very brave. The staff person deserts you and you are there all alone and you know they have some BIG birds out there that like to pick up rabbits and sheep...and cats. So you did the only sensible thing: you got undercover! It must have been exciting though, and really awesome that you know how to protect yourself!

  6. We is sure your secretary and staff were happy to find you! We admires your courage but Carlos, remember, there are no regular meals and friendly scritches in the outside world. And it's scary!
