Supervising on the night shift

The secretary got the kids to sleep, and started her night shift on some of her household duties. I naturally had to interrupt my well begun evening nap and come downstairs to check up on her. The stuff she was doing seemed a bit weird to me.

It seemed that she was covering the kids' school books with some kind of transparent and sticky plastic. The task involved scissors too, so I had to keep a close eye on her so that she wouldn't hurt herself.

Well, whatever point she had with this strange stuff, it seemed quite harmless. So I proceeded to get some evening snack and then returned to my nap.

Good night and have a great week!

  1. Carlos, it was good of you to check on your Mom
to make sure she was working carefully and in no danger of hurting herself.
    Enjoy your nap!

  2. Havin' been home-schooled by my mama out in the backyard, I never had school books but the peep did. In fact, she had forgotten about this ritual until readin' your blog, today. She said that in her day, way back in olden times, she had to cover her textbooks with wrappin' paper. I imagine that might have caused a shortage of tissue for playin'. MOUSES! What ever did cats back then do?

    Purrs,

  4. Your human looks easy to supervise, Carlos - I get the feeling that mine will be a lot more work! And she wants to thank you for all the nice words you said about Sparkle - she misses her lots.
