Happy Halloween!

So I hear it's Halloween. It's not that big of a deal around here, but we do some parts of it. We don't do any tricks but luckily we have the treats! And in my case it means fresh live dead smoked white fish! Grilled and prepared by the big one. 

That was SO good.

The stupid behaviour test

Yesterday the newspapers around here were writing about some "magical circles" any cat couldn't resist. I heard that there were some pics posted on Reddit where humans had formed a circle on the floor, and then their cats had gone inside it to claim it their territory. Obviously my secretary had to test this stupid thing with me. She thought she would get some fun pictures of me rushing to the circle and making it my territory, but little did she know. I guess I missed the memo when cats were instructed to act the way so many of them seem to be acting.

So here I am. And here is the circle. I couldn't care less.

See how little I care for your stupid test, human?

Really, it's just a scarf lying on the floor, not any magic circle I would need to conquer.

Next time, try to come up with something a little more challenging...

Tuesday!

 

Well, another workday for most of my humans. I can tell you my secretary would LOVE to work from home, so that she could spend more time with me! Well, officially she claims she would like to do that because of the kids, but I still think that I'm the main reason. I tried to convince her to take me along to her office, but she explained that there wouldn't be any kibble, snacks, nip or anything feline friendly. What kind of horrible place is that I asked! No place for me anyways!

But now it's time to go to sleep. We are all tired, and tomorrow is a new day. Have a good evening!

I was just trying to help out my secretary with the shoe laces, but she just didn't get it... I don't know why.

Carlos was here

Allthough the weather was lousy, I was let out for a little while. The snow was still there, but the rain did it's best during the whole day to kill what was left of it.

Also mr. Frosty had passed away. I suspect the kids had helped a bit in the process...

By the way, there would be room for plenty of cats around the fireplace! So just teleport over, and bring some marshmallows! Oh, except the fire isn't on right now... I'll let you know when the big one lights it up again!

Hey Frosty the Snowman!

You're here today, gone tomorrow! We've had snowstorm today, and the kids are mildly said excited. Well, results you can see above. But tomorrow the weather will change and Frosty will be transformed into a puddle.

I enjoy being inside and warming up in front of the fireplace. It's Friday, friends, and it's all right!

Sooooo...

...it's Thursday. The day has just swooshed by. Here I am just hanging out on the stairs.

Yesterdays wild and crazy ribbon pulling didn't end to my victory, but that's ok. Also, the trousers my secretary was wearing, were thick and loose enough so that my claws didn't hurt her leg.

Behind bars

Help, I'm being held a prisoner behind bars!

No, I'm just kidding... This is just an old safety gate the humans used upstairs when the kids were smaller. Also, I'm still thin enough to slip through the bars anyways.

But speaking of being thin! My humans tried to pull an outrageous trick on me and bought some lousy and cheap cat food they expected me to eat! I refused! It lasted a couple of days before they realised their huge mistake and brought back some proper tuna! I do hope they have learned their lesson and don't try that again!!

Monday activities

So it's Monday. We have made it through the day so we can clap ourselves on the shoulder. 

I was keeping company to the kid when he was going through his treasure box. You know how most of small boys have a treasure box where they collect all kinds of interesting stuff they have found here and there. I was quite intrigued with the things, and he let me pawticipate on the inspection.

Notice the cool ceramic cat shaped pen holder beside me? Pretty nice, huh? That's an old gift my secretary has gotten  years back, and like we know, it's still as fashionable as ever! Cats never go out of style!

Welcome to my castle

I guess I haven't shown you before the humble castle I have. I thought it's about time to take you on a tour. Follow me!

Ok, that was it. I said it was humble, but it's a real castle anyway! I don't think there are many kitties with a castle out there! Well, if we are TOTALLY specific, the castle belongs to the kids. But I get to use it! At least when they leave the door open... Well, I can access it almost whenever I want to.

I love wool socks!

The kids wool socks are stored in a box in the small hall closet. If I have a change, I always sneak into the closet to nibble the socks a bit.

I just nibble them for a while but then I get bored with the whole thing and I stop.
