...at least from the fan above the window. That's why I lie here on the table, at the exact spot where the heater fan blows the nice warm air. The fan is actually so clever, that it has a laser eye (or something..) which measures the temperature around the room, and then the heated air flow is directed there where the cold spot is. So I can't just lay here all the time, the fan changes the direction every now and then. Annoying.
The house would also have underfloor heating, but my penny-pincher staff hasn't put it on yet to "save electricity and money" since it's been exceptionally warm outside....Pffft....Imagine how wonderful it would be to stretch and lie on a warm floor! Sometimes humans aren't that sensitive to my special needs at all. Well, then I just have to lie here on the table and let them have cat fur on their food! I really don't have a choise.
dood....we wood invite ewe ta stretch out N enjoy de heet oh TT how ever.....it wented sum place N wont be bak til at leest fry day when we will bask in a balmy 35 dee greez...which will seem like a heet wave troo lee....happee ton oh trout twoozday !!!
ReplyDeleteDood, I'd love to come! Let me know when the heat is back and I'll be there! Next weekend we'll be freezing our butts off, the winter is finally coming here! It's been promised some crispy -15 celsius. Brrr.... I hope it would snow still...
DeleteThat heater fan sounds like something we'd like! (So would in-floor heating.)
ReplyDeleteWe can't believe your humans let you lie up on the table, though -- our human won't let us up on the dining table or kitchen counters, either, while she's home. (We know to do it at night or when she's at work. LOL.)
Yes, I hope they will switch it on soon, since the temps are getting lower soon.
DeleteWell, that is one fight I seem to be winning, they got tired of telling me to get off the table all the time, since it really didn't work :-)
Whoa! Your staff is as rude as mine. Let them eat cat fur.
ReplyDeleteYes, fur shall they be served.
DeleteNo under floor heating ? Not even to test it out ? Well! Actually, we are in an older house so only have radiators on the wall but they work. And there's always the sauna too! The burmese love it in there. And yes, it is very warm here still - we are on mousewatch every day and the snow is very thin.
ReplyDeleteNope, but I'm hoping they will start using it soon, the temps are getting lower on the weekend. I've been to sauna once, but I prefer it when it's not heated. Oh you have snow, lucky you!
DeleteReal sun would be good too, we wonder will it ever come out again?
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right! I haven't seen a decent sun puddle for a long long time!
DeleteThat's exactly where I would lay too, Carlos. We have heat vents on the floor and I like to lay on top of them. The mom says I'm gonna burn up one day.
ReplyDeleteErnie
Oh, that sounds much nicer! You get so much closer to the vents that I'll never get. Be careful though, I guess cat fur can light up very easily!
Deleteyou are right, they definitely did not give you any choice at all!
ReplyDeleteYes, this was a force majeure kind of situation.
DeleteWe have tile floors. Unheated!
ReplyDeleteBut my bed is almost right over the heat vent. It's a lose/win thing.
Brrr...that must get cold. But luckily your bed is in a good place!
